    Beijing, June 17, 2026 — International Cuisine & Sustainable Development Forum, a featured event of the 2026 “Taste of Chaoyang” International Gourmet Festival jointly organized by the Chaoyang District Bureau of Commerce, SUMAC Group and Sony China on June 17 at Sumac Restaurant in Beijing, concluded with resounding success.

    2026年6月17日,北京——作為2026“食在朝陽”國際美食節的重要特色活動之一,由北京市朝陽區商務局、蘇馬克集團與索尼(中國)有限公司聯合主辦的“國際美食與可持續發展論壇”于6月17日在北京蘇馬克餐廳成功舉行。

    The event brought together government officials, ambassadors and diplomatic representatives from embassies in China, business leaders, cultural institutions, media representatives and industry partners to explore how cuisine, culture, technology and commerce can create new forms of international exchange and lifestyle experiences.

    Celebrating China-Lebanon Cultural Exchange

    A highlight of the event was the China-Lebanon Intangible Cultural Heritage Artwork Presentation Ceremony.

    活動的重要亮點之一是“中黎非遺藝術作品贈送儀式”。

    Everlasting Unity, a specially commissioned underglaze porcelain artwork inspired by the Lebanese cedar, was unveiled as a symbol of friendship, cultural dialogue and shared heritage between China and Lebanon. The presentation reflected Sumac’s long-standing commitment to fostering cultural exchange and demonstrated how art and craftsmanship can serve as powerful vehicles for mutual understanding across borders.

    M-Pita, Sumac’s original cultural IP character, also made its debut during the event, engaging guests through interactive displays that highlighted Sumac’s commitment to cultural storytelling and community building.

    蘇馬克原創文化IP形象“M-Pita”也在活動現場首次亮相,通過互動展示,進一步展現了蘇馬克打造文化社區、促進情感連接的品牌初心。

    The cultural program also featured a special performance by renowned singer Sury Su, whose music added a vibrant cultural dimension to the event.

    Sumac Restaurant Group and Sony China officially launched a collaboration that will introduce Sony’s Synecoculture green tea product to consumers through Sumac’s hospitality ecosystem. In addition, Sumac Restaurant Group and Yintai Group announced a strategic partnership covering commercial cooperation, retail distribution, membership ecosystem integration, international business channels and future investment opportunities.
